This site is a work in progress. While we have many of these strains, services, and knowledge available, we are currently hoping to secure funding to devote ourselves fully.
Agrobacterium Science was founded in South Carolina & Georgia in 2022. We aim to preserve Agrobacterium strains, serving as a repository for both academics and industry. We hope to provide services that can help scientists use Agrobacterium to fulfill their needs. As food issues and climate change continue to pose threats to us, we believe Agrobacterium will play a vital role in solving the problems of tomorrow.
Correct and useful information on Agrobacterium is hard to find. Many strains that were characterized in the past decades are being lost as labs shut down. We hope to become the best source for anything relating to Agrobacterium in the United States.
