Following the work of Hamilton, CAMBIA, and Corteva, we have developed our own ternary vectors for improving transformations. Variations exist, and we like to cater our ternaries to the bacterial strain and plant species of interest.
While ternary vectors have been around a long time, they have recently been uncovered again as being important to improving transformation. We offer a novel system for including yet another plasmid. We most commonly use this system for helping to keep our other plasmid sizes manageable, while also incorporating a type three secretion system (T3SS) that delivers effectors for our specific plant of interest.
